Two usual opponents are back on the preseason schedule again for 2007. First, the Cleveland Browns are on the schedule for the annual rivalry game in the preseason. Both teams play each preseason now and always have a close game. The Lions lost last preseason at Cleveland 20-16. The Buffalo Bills also return to the preseason schedule again. In 2006, the Bills beat the Lions 20-13 in another close loss.
Detroit will hope to improve its preseason schedule from a year ago after going a dismal 1-3 that was a sign of bad things to come.
The entire regular season schedule was supposed to be unveiled on Thursday, but was delayed. We should know at the latest by April 19.
