Lions Sign Calvin Johnson to 6-Year Deal

It's official, the Lions have finally signed second overall pick Calvin Johnson, meaning he can now join training camp and begin practice. Johnson and the Lions ultimately agreed on a 6-year deal. PFT reports that the NFL Network's Adam Schefter said the deal was worth $27.2 million in guaranteed money and a max of $64 million.

I'm just glad that we got some good news after finding out that Stanton was done for the season. C.J. will now be able to get on the field to start turning heads as he's done so many times before. He actually was able to practice this morning since the contract was agreed to at 2 a.m. and signed at 8 a.m.
