I'm in a car on the way home from Ann Arbor, so this is a short update. I'll have much more in a few hours.
A trade that would have sent Shaun Rogers to the Bengals for two draft picks has fallen apart. Although the Lions apparently confirmed the trade, it never actually was officially approved by the NFL.
With the Cincinnati deal dead, the Lions now are reportedly going to trade Rogers to Cleveland for a third-round pick and cornerback Leigh Bodden. We probably shouldn't assume the deal is done until the league approves it to make it official, but at this point Rogers appears to be headed to Cleveland.
