Pride of Detroit's "NFL Draft HQ" is finally complete (see left sidebar), and here is a rundown of what you will find:
- NFL Draft Widget - NFL.com brings you a widget that features a countdown to the draft, a schedule of events, info on prospects, and links to videos relating to the draft.
- Draft Tracker - I put together a full seven-round draft tracker so you can keep track of who has been taken come April 26 and 27. Throughout the draft, I will keep it updated, but until then, you can take a look at any of the seven rounds to see where each team is picking.
- TV Coverage - This is when the draft begins and where you can find coverage of it. Rounds one and two are on Saturday and begin at 3:00 p.m. ET, and then the final five rounds are on Sunday beginning at 10:00 a.m. ET. Both ESPN and NFL Network will be covering the draft live on both days.
- Lions' Draft Picks - This section provides a look at when the Lions will be on the clock during the draft. Once actual picks are made, I will update the table to include the newest members of the Lions.
- SBN Mock Draft - The final section of NFL Draft HQ gives you a link to a tracker so you can follow the 2008 SB Nation Mock Draft, and then it also gives you a link to Pride of Detroit's Mock Draft Board. That is where I ranked my top five players at positions of need to organize my thoughts on who I may select for each pick of the mock draft. In round one I drafted OT Chris Williams, and hopefully I will still be able to use the draft board when the Lions' second pick comes up.
If anyone has any other ideas or requests for things to include in NFL Draft HQ, then leave a comment or shoot me an e-mail.
