Lions Open More Practices to Public

Since open practices have been such a success in only the first week of Lions training camp, the team decided to open up more practices to the public.

Detroit Lions will open additional training camp practices to the general public at the Lions Headquarters and Training Facility in Allen Park. The general public is invited to attend Lions training camp Thursday, July 31, Monday, August 11 and Tuesday, August 12. Training camp practice viewing areas at the Lions Headquarters and Training Facility in Allen Park have been increased to accommodate approximately 700 fans and access will be limited on a first-come, first-serve basis.

There are two practice sessions scheduled for Thursday, July 31 that begin at 8:35 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Gates will open 30 minutes prior to each session. Both practice sessions on Thursday are full-squad workouts.

On top of the additional open practices, don't forget that there will be a scrimmage and a fan day on Saturday.  Both events are open to the public as well if you have a ticket.  Tickets can be picked up starting at noon today at various Wireless Giant stores.
