Although Jahvid Best said on Thursday that he was hoping to play on Sunday, it didn't necessarily mean a whole lot in the grand scheme of things. On Friday, however, he was able to practice, which is a very encouraging sign, as it shows that physically he may be good to go. Here is what Jim Schwartz had to say about the situation on Twitter:
I think Jahvid's on the right track. It may be a game-time decision - it may not - but rest definitely helped him the first days of the week
While Best practiced for the first time this week, the Lions got some potentially bad news when Kyle Vanden Bosch sat out practice on Friday because of a new back injury. It appears that Vanden Bosch will still play on Sunday, but that sort of came out of nowhere in the midst of all these other injuries.
In other injury news, Louis Delmas practiced again on Friday. DeAndre Levy and Nate Burleson did not, however, so their status for the Packers game is definitely up in the air.
