Calvin Johnson Practices; Matthew Stafford Not Ruled Out For Sunday

Calvin Johnson, who banged up his right shoulder in the fourth quarter of the Rams game, was able to practice today. Good news, right? Well, the catch is that Johnson only ran routes and did not attempt to bring in any passes. Actually, no passes were even thrown in his direction, as the Lions didn't want him to risk banging up his shoulder more than it already is. I'm not quite sure how to interpret this news, but I suppose it's good that he was at least out there.

Matthew Stafford, Jahvid Best, Landon Johnson, DeAndre Levy and Spencer Havner did not practice. Although Stafford missed practice, Jim Schwartz did not name Shaun Hill the starter for the Giants game. He didn't rule out Stafford either, although the consensus is that he's still doubtful.

Louis Delmas, Aaron Brown and Cliff Avril all practiced today.
