Just as this season looked like it was moving in a positive direction, the universe balanced things out by delivering another crushing blow to the Lions. From Chris Mortensen:
Lions' Shaun Hill broken left forearm...and the guy has played well in Stafford's place.
Hill left the Giants game toward the end of the first half. Drew Stanton has been in at quarterback ever since, and although he hasn't been bad by any means, it sucks to lose Hill, who has been playing lights out the last few weeks. At least Matthew Stafford will be back after the bye, I suppose.
UPDATE: Jim Schwartz confirmed after the game that Hill has a broken left forearm.
