Pro Bowl Voting Opens On NFL.com

Earlier this week, fan voting began for the 2011 NFL Pro Bowl on NFL.com. Usually this type of thing is irrelevant to Lions fans because none of the players have a legitimate shot of making the NFC squad. This year, however, a few players are realistically in the mix for a spot on the team, so already I have gone through the ballot and voted for as many Lions players as I could.

To vote, simply click here. You don't even have to fill out the entire ballot. If you want, just select all of the Lions players and submit your ballot as a straight Detroit ticket. That's what I did, and although some of the players I voted for have absolutely no shot of making the Pro Bowl, I figured going all Lions was the best way to make sure I have everyone covered.

I don't believe the Lions have had a Pro-Bowler since 2006 when Roy Williams made the trip to Hawaii, but this definitely feels like the year the drought will come to an end. Do your part by voting for Lions players on NFL.com.
