Lions Receive Extension, Have 2,500 Tickets Left For Sunday

The Lions sold 2,000 tickets since yesterday's announcement that 4,500 were left. That number is down to 2,500, allowing the Lions to receive a 24-hour extension to reach a sellout.

The new deadline to get rid of all the tickets to lift the blackout is 1 p.m. on Friday. Typically teams don't get extensions unless a sellout is likely, so this is a very good sign that Sunday's game will be televised locally.
