- The Lions have fined Dominic Raiola $15,000 for the comment he made to an opposing fan as he left the field following last Sunday's Dolphins game. Interestingly, Raiola was fined only half that two years ago after he flipped off Lions fans at Ford Field.

Calvin Johnson, Chris Houston and Landon Johnson missed practice today for the Lions. It's unclear what their status is for Sunday's game against the Vikings, but right now all signs point to Calvin Johnson being the only one that is not doubtful right now.
- Only 1,500 tickets are available for Sunday's season finale against the Minnesota Vikings. Although the official deadline for a sellout is Thursday afternoon, a 24-hour extension would certainly be granted if a sellout isn't reached because the number of available tickets is so low. Regardless of when the sellout is reached, it's a pretty good bet that for the seventh time in eight home games this season the Lions will not be blacked out. After having so many blackouts a year ago, selling out seven of eight home games would certainly be a big achievement for the Lions.

Brett Favre ended up getting fined $50,000 for his role in the Jenn Sterger scandal. His fine actually is for not cooperating with the NFL's investigation rather than any wrongdoing as far as what text messages he allegedly sent, but $50,000 is nothing for him anyway. That's equivalent to only four and half minutes of game action based on his current contract, so it would have been much more worthwhile to suspend him. Roger Goodell decided against that, however, meaning Favre will be eligible to lace up his cleats for what would likely be the final time of his career on Sunday. Whether or not he's actually healthy enough to play is another story, though.
