- If you haven't already, go like Pride of Detroit on Facebook and follow POD on Twitter. Also, feel free to like SB Nation Detroit, my other site, and follow it on Twitter as well.
- Calvin Johnson and Chris Houston were again out today. They have missed three straight days of practice, which isn't a good sign for them playing on Sunday.
- Brett Favre was on the practice field for the Vikings today, but he didn't actually participate in any drills or anything like that. At this point, I highly doubt he plays on Sunday, but then again this is Brett Favre we're talking about, so never say never.
- Gunther Cunningham joked that Ndamukong Suh is Martin Mayhew's assistant because he offers up so much advice about players the Lions should get. Apparently Kyle Vanden Bosch is similar in that way, as they "want to be surrounded by good players."
- Jeff Backus really wants to experience the playoffs, especially now that long-time friend and former teammate James Hall is just a win away from going to the postseason with the Rams.
- Jared Allen surprisingly had some good things to say about the Lions during a conference call this week. Remember, earlier this season he said that he doesn't like Detroit at all.
