The Lions have reached a sellout for Sunday's game against the Packers. It is the fourth consecutive sellout and the sixth overall this season. The Lions have only failed to sell out one game this year, a win over the Redskins.
Detroit's six sellouts so far this season are the most they've had since 2007. That year all eight home games were sellouts for the Lions as their Ford Field sellout streak continued. Things changed drastically in 2008 as the losses started to pile up, though, and sellouts were very sporadic the previous two seasons. This year, however, the Lions have done quite well with ticket sales despite another bad record.
The Lions' final home game of the season is on Jan. 2, 2011, against the Vikings. It is the final game of the regular season for the Lions and could possibly be Brett Favre's final game in the NFL.
