One of the Lions' unrestricted free agents is coming back for another season with the team, according to the Detroit Free Press.
Offensive tackle Jon Jansen has agreed to a one-year, $850,000 deal to remain with the Detroit Lions.
Jansen is likely only the first of a few re-signings that will happen in the coming days (at least that is what the Lions are probably hoping for). They have hinted at wanting to bring back some of their free agents in recent weeks, though there haven't been a ton of details released to the public. There has been talk that Will Heller could be re-signed as early as today, but I'm not sure where the rest of the free agents stand with the Lions. My guess is we will have a pretty good idea of who is and isn't coming back by the end of the weekend.
UPDATE: Jansen will make $860,000 in 2010, not $850,000.
