With the 33rd pick of the 2010 Pride of Detroit Community Mock Draft, the St. Louis Rams select Illinois wide receiver Arrelious Benn.
Here is mgersz's reasoning for the pick:
Time to get Sam Bradford a nice weapon or two in this year's draft. Before you vote if you like this pick or not read one more sentence... The Rams' leading receiver was Steven Jackson with 51 receptions. You have to vote YES now. Donnie Avery, who is a natural slot receiver, was second with 47 for 569 yards. That is pathetic. I really wanted to draft an offensive weapon at this spot and Benn fills this team's needs perfectly. Benn has all the physical tools to be a major player in the NFL. He has great speed (4.4), incredible blocking skills, amazing body control, and can easily break arm tackles. (Watch out Lions) His major flaw is Braylon-type drops. Juice Williams is not an ideal quarterback for Benn as you can clearly tell. Bradford and his delicate, accurate drops will make Benn's stats balloon. Often compared to an Anquan Boldin or a T.O., Benn will instantly upgrade the whole entire offense in St. Louis.
