2010 Pride of Detroit Community Mock Draft: Pick No. 51

Rd. # Player Pos. College
2 51 Dexter McCluster
RB
Mississippi
General Manager: lions_sucker

With the 51st pick of the 2010 Pride of Detroit Community Mock Draft, the Houston Texans select Mississippi running back Dexter McCluster.

Here is lions_sucker's reasoning for the pick:

After picking up Kyle Wilson in the first round, the Houston Texans' most glaring need at this point would be RB, DT, interior offensive line, and possibly a WR to prepare for fact that Andre Johnson is not getting any younger. At this spot, the best player available would be Dexter McCluster, so I just can't pass on him. He would potentially fill two spots, as he can compliment Steve Slaton in the run game, but he can also be a threat in the passing game as well.

DT would definitely be my pick in round three if we were to go that far in the draft, but the players available at the moment just aren't as valuable as McCluster, and I feel anyone available now at DT will be there at the next pick.
