2010 Pride of Detroit Community Mock Draft: Pick No. 62

Rd. # Player Pos. College

With the 62 pick of the 2010 Pride of Detroit Community Mock Draft, the Minnesota Vikings select Massachusetts offensive guard Vladimir Ducasse.

Here is HoorayForEverything's reasoning for the pick:

The purple people are still pissed at the pretty boy Packers for taking Rodger Saffold earlier, which is exactly what Minnesota was looking for. I was torn between this pick and Jon Asamoah, who seems to have dropped too far as well. Is anyone reading this? Vladimir gets the nod because he can start on the interior line and have a chance of someday moving out to tackle, which is why this is more valuable. The Vikings are not particularly thrilled with Bryant McKinnie, but they are not as down on him as Jared Allen is on bar patrons who can't keep their mouth shut. So, I think this is the correct pick for Minnesota, who escapes the first 2 rounds with a starting cornerback and a great o-line prospect/project to help their already solid football team.
