2010 Pride of Detroit Community Mock Draft: Pick No. 14

Rd. # Player Pos. College
1 14 Dez Bryant
WR
Oklahoma State
General Manager: stumpy8100

With the 14th pick of the 2010 Pride of Detroit Community Mock Draft, the Seattle Seahawks select Oklahoma State wide receiver Dez Bryant.

Here is stumpy8100's reasoning for the pick (check out his position by position breakdown for the Seahawks here):

I was pleasantly surprised that Dez Bryant was still available at this spot. I was actually expecting to take Bulaga here but with him going at 13, I'll gladly take a playmaking wide receiver that the Seahawks sorely need. Some may argue that there are character issues with this guy and that may be true, but he wasn't in and out of jail and getting DUIs or something. He had a relationship with Deion Sanders that may or may not have been illegal and lied about it. Maybe he's not the sharpest tool in the shed but the guy can play. Aside from Spiller, he's the best playmaker in the draft and I think the best player left on the board.
