2010 Pride of Detroit Community Mock Draft: Pick No. 22

Rd. # Player Pos. College
1 22 Jared Odrick
DL
Penn State
General Manager: Quez81

With the 22nd pick of the 2010 Pride of Detroit Community Mock Draft, the New England Patriots select Penn State defensive lineman Jared Odrick.

Here is Quez81's reasoning for the pick:

The New England Patriots have a gaping hole at the DE position. Jared Odrick has the size and physical ability to fill this position. Odrick's 6'5", 296 pound frame makes him an excellent pass rusher and a solid run stopper. He fits in the 3-4 defense well as a 5 technique DE. With the departure of Richard Seymour, this pick only makes sense and I think this will be the Patriots' real pick during the draft. The other option, Sergio Kindle, was already taken with a prior pick.

Check out the 2010 Pride of Detroit Community Mock Draft tracker for a look at all of the picks.
