Lions Agree To Terms With Mr. Irrelevant Tim Toone

Seventh-round pick Tim Toone has agreed to a three-year deal with the Lions. When he signs the deal, he will be the fourth Lions draft pick under contract, leaving only Ndamukong Suh and Jahvid Best, Detroit's two first-rounders, unsigned.

Toone, who is this year's Mr. Irrelevant since he was the final pick of the draft, is actually celebrating "Irrelevant Week" right now.

"I am super stoked right now," Toone said. "It's better than being the first pick."

Toone also will get a chance to ride in the Goodyear Blimp, visit "Toon Town" at Disneyland, make an appearance at a Los Angeles Angels game and appear as an in-studio guest on the NFL Network.

Fittingly, Toone is at "Toon Town" right now, according to John Niyo. As a result, it may take him some time to actually get his contract signed, as I doubt a fax machine is readily available at Disneyland.

UPDATE: Toone has now signed his deal, according to the Lions' official site.
