The Detroit Free Press is reporting that a deal with Ndamukong Suh is imminent.
The Lions are closing in on a deal and expect to sign defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh today, according to a person with knowledge of the negotiations.
The first practice of camp starts at 3 p.m. this afternoon. I imagine Suh would have to go through the conditioning test first, but I doubt he would have any problems with it.
The one thing I'm interested in is if Suh is en route to Allen Park. We learned yesterday that he was still in Nebraska. While he was packed and ready to come to Michigan, there was no indication that he was getting ready to come here. I would hope that he jumped on a plane once Sam Bradford got a deal done, because he needs to be ready to go as soon as a contract is worked out.
