The Lions made a few moves today, including signing one player and releasing another.
- Linebacker Jordon Dizon was placed on injured reserve. Taking his spot on the roster is linebacker Lee Campbell, who was re-signed earlier today.
- Safety Ko Simpson was removed from the PUP list, meaning he will finally be able to practice. (Only cornerback Jack Williams is on the PUP list now.)
- The other move made by the Lions today is that they released defensive end Jason Hunter. This move comes as a bit of a surprise, because Hunter played well last year and seemed like he would be in the mix to start at defensive end. Although Cliff Avril has showed that he deserves to be a starter at DE, I figured Hunter would at least push him. That won't be happening now, though.
