Defensive end Jared DeVries is off the PUP list, marking the second straight day that a Lions player has been removed and returned to practice. Brandon Pettigrew was removed on Sunday, and today it was DeVries. The rest of the PUP list (see below) is still intact, but hopefully there will be fewer names on it as time goes by.

In addition to those four players, DeAndre Levy, Mike Moore and Pettigrew missed this morning's practice. Levy is dealing with a tight back and wasn't ruled out for this afternoon's practice, so it doesn't sound too serious. Moore was out with a shoulder injury, and Pettigrew was held out as planned and should be on the field now for the afternoon session.
