By 4 p.m. tomorrow, all NFL teams will have to cut down their roster to a maximum of 75 players. As a result, there will be quite a few cuts made in the next 24 hours, and the Lions actually already have started to trim down their roster. John Niyo reports that the following four players were waived today by the team:
- FB Jake Nordin (waived/injured)
- WR Eric Fowler
- DE Chima Ihekwoaba
- LB Lee Campbell
It has also been confirmed that Rocky Boiman has signed with the Lions, so that means that two more players will need to be let go by tomorrow afternoon in order to get the roster down to 75 players.
