Ndamukong Suh was not in the Allen Park area when his deal was agreed to last night, but he was scheduled to fly to Detroit this morning.
The Lions practiced at 9 a.m., meaning he missed today's morning session, but the team only now confirmed that they had agreed to terms with the second overall pick anyway. Even if he had been in Allen Park, it's unclear if the deal would have been made official by the Lions in time for him to practice.
Either way, Suh is en route to Detroit if he's not here already, and he will be on the practice field for today's afternoon session (at 3:15 p.m.). When he arrives, his contract will need to be signed to officially make it official, and then I imagine he will have to go through the conditioning test that the rest of the team did last Saturday. Assuming everything goes off without a hitch, the coaches and players will get their first training camp look at Suh later this afternoon.
