Tom Lewand was originally suspended from working for the Lions for 30 days, keeping him from being involved with the team until later in the month. That suspension has been decreased to 21 days, however, meaning he will be able to go to work tomorrow. From Tom Kowalski:
According to the source, Goodell reduced the suspension because Lewand continues to make good on his commitment to take all the necessary steps to prevent a reoccurrence.
Many believed the 30-day suspension was excessive, so it's not too surprising that it ended up being reduced by nine days.
