Although Jahvid Best's chances of playing on Sunday seemed slim considering he missed practice yesterday and today, he is feeling optimistic about giving it a go against Green Bay.
"My toe is doing good. I've got to take it day by day,'' Best said. "I'll give it a go tomorrow and see how it feels. It's gotten a lot better -- better than I thought it was going to get. It's looking real good right now.''
If Best can practice tomorrow, it would be a great sign for his status on Sunday. And considering Aaron Brown is banged up and the Lions only have two healthy backs right now, they really need Best to be able to play.
