East-West Shrine Game Open Thread

The 2011 East-West Shrine Game kicked off on NFL Network today at 4 p.m. This year's teams are coached by former Broncos and Falcons head coach Dan Reeves (East) and former Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips (West). Lions wide receivers coach Shawn Jefferson is on the East coaching staff, serving the same position as his job with Detroit.

You can find rosters for today's game here. Some players with local ties in the game are Michigan State tight end Charlie Gantt, MSU linebacker Eric Gordon (he's listed as a safety on the roster) and Central Michigan linebacker Nick Bellore.

Feel free to chat about the 2011 East-West Shrine Game in the comments of this post and remember that next week is the Senior Bowl and the Pro Bowl. Pride of Detroit will have coverage of both games throughout the week and open threads on Saturday (for the Senior Bowl) and Sunday (for the Pro Bowl).
