NFL Moves Start Time For Lions-Bears Game To Late Afternoon Slot

No games in Week 10 were flexed to Sunday night, as the game between the New York Jets and New England Patriots will remain the primetime matchup that week. One game has had its start time changed, and it is the matchup between the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears.

LM: #Bears-Lions game Nov. 13 at Soldier Field has been moved to 3:15 p.m. (CT).

Because this matchup is apparently more intriguing than it was back when the schedule was made in April, FOX wants it to be one of the late afternoon games. The only one that was previously scheduled for FOX is a game between the San Francisco 49ers and New York Giants, so now FOX has two pretty intriguing games in the late afternoon slot.

With this game now at 4:15 p.m., the Lions have a total of three more late afternoon games. In addition to playing the Bears game at 4:15 p.m., the Lions play the Oakland Raiders and San Diego Chargers at 4:05 p.m. in back-to-back weeks in December. The Raiders game is in Oakland and the Chargers game is at Ford Field on Christmas Eve.
