The Detroit Lions got good news yesterday when kicker Jason Hanson returned to practice on a limited basis. While it would have been better news if he fully practiced, he seems to be on track to play on Sunday against the Chicago Bears.
Here's the full injury report from Thursday:
Did Not Practice
RB Jahvid Best (Concussion), DT Sammie Hill (Ankle)
Limited In Practice
WR Rashied Davis (Foot), S Louis Delmas (Foot), K Jason Hanson (Left Knee), P Ryan Donahue (Right Quad)
Fully Practiced
QB Matthew Stafford (Finger/Ankle), TE Brandon Pettigrew (Elbow)
The Bears' Thursday injury report is after the jump.
Did Not Practice
WR Devin Hester (Ankle), OT Gabe Carimi (Knee), DE Julius Peppers (Knee), DT Matt Toeaina (Knee)
Limited In Practice
TE Kellen Davis (Shoulder), S Major Wright (Ankle)
Although Hester missed practice, he is still expected to play on Sunday. If he can't go, though, that would be a break for the Lions, especially with Donahue's status up in the air right now.
