Calvin Johnson Good To Go For Sunday's Game Against Panthers?

When quarterback Matthew Stafford was picked off in the end zone on the Lions' second-to-last drive of Sunday's game against the Bears, wide receiver Calvin Johnson took a hit and looked a little woozy. Not much was made at the time about the possibility of him being hurt, but he was asked about it today by Dave Birkett.

"I’m all right," Johnson said today as he and teammates Drew Stanton, Nate Burleson, Stephen Tulloch and Louis Delmas took part in an NFL Play 60 event at Shelters Elementary School in Southgate. "Just got my bell rung a little bit there at the end, but other than that, I’m fine."

Johnson went on to say that he's fine and he simply "got a little rattled." He didn't say he suffered a concussion on the play, but he shared the news that he has already passed a concussion test. This seems to indicate that Johnson will be ready to practice later this week and play against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

This past Sunday was rough in general for Johnson considering he took a few big hits and had a fumble and some drops, so it will be important for him to bounce back this week against the Panthers.
