With both Jackson and Young out for the Lions, Gunther Cunningham will have to be a bit creative with the defensive end rotation. It is expected that Ndamukong Suh, Andre Fluellen and perhaps even Nick Fairley will see some time at defensive end as the Lions try to make up for their two backups being out today.
At cornerback, Berry is out after waking up sick. This means Brandon McDonald will likely see playing time in nickel packages, and perhaps Alphonso Smith will finally get some playing time at cornerback.
