The Detroit Lions have an interesting road ahead as the 2011 NFL season starts to wind down. This week, they have to take on a very tough Saints team that just blew out the Giants on Monday night. After that, the Lions return home for a game they should win against the Vikings. Detroit then heads on the road to face a Raiders team that is actually leading the AFC West. The Chargers are also from that division and have actually lost six straight. They are in the midst of a collapse, which is the opposite of the situation with the Packers. They just beat the Lions on Thanksgiving and could potentially be playing for a 16-0 record against the Lions in the regular season finale.
Here's a rundown of how these teams performed in Week 12:
Saints (8-3) - vs. Lions on Dec. 4 - beat Giants at home, 49-24
Vikings (2-9) - at Lions on Dec. 11 - lost to Falcons on road, 24-14
Raiders (7-4) - vs. Lions on Dec. 18 - beat Bears at home, 25-20
Chargers (4-7) - at Lions on Dec. 24 - lost to Broncos at home, 16-13 (OT)
Packers (11-0) - vs. Lions on Jan. 1 - beat Lions on road, 27-15
