Lions At Bears: Wednesday Injury Report

The Detroit Lions held their second practice of the week today. No injury report was released for Tuesday's session, so the injury report for Wednesday is our first chance to get an overview of the Lions' injury situation since before the Denver Broncos game a couple weeks ago. Here's the rundown:

Did Not Practice

RB Jahvid Best (Concussion), DE Kyle Vanden Bosch (Not Injury Related), DT Sammie Hill (Ankle), K Jason Hanson (Left Knee)

Limited In Practice

WR Rashied Davis (Foot), P Ryan Donahue (Right Quad)

Fully Practiced

QB Matthew Stafford (Finger, Ankle), TE Brandon Pettigrew (Elbow)

Considering Hanson's stitches are apparently in his left (non-kicking) knee, my guess is that he will play on Sunday and the Lions are just taking extra precautions right now. Of course, they did work out two kickers today just in case Hanson can't go, and Donahue is now dealing with an injury as well, but I'm hoping by the end of the week the injury concerns will have disappeared for the special teamers.

(Note: The Bears didn't practice today, but they did release an injury report with what the designations would have been if they had practiced.)
