Here's a rundown of the practice designations for the Detroit Lions' Wednesday injury report:
Did Not Practice
OT Gosder Cherilus (Hamstring), DE Kyle Vanden Bosch (Neck), DT Nick Fairley (Foot), DT Corey Williams (Hip), CB Don Carey (Concussion), S Louis Delmas (Knee), S Chris Harris (Concussion)
Limited In Practice
DE Willie Young (Ankle), CB Chris Houston (Knee), CB Aaron Berry (Shoulder)
Fully Practiced
RB Kevin Smith (Ankle), OG Rob Sims (Shoulder), DE Lawrence Jackson (Thigh), LB Justin Durant (Hamstring), S Amari Spievey (Knee)
It's a good sign that Jackson fully practiced. He has been out for a while with that thigh injury, and it seems like he is on track to play this week against the San Diego Chargers.
Unfortunately, it looks like the Lions once again could be hurting for depth in the secondary. Carey and Harris missed practice with concussions, and Delmas was out again. Houston and Berry being limited is a good sign, but it sounds like the Lions might be bringing back Brandon McDonald for extra depth.
(Note: The Chargers' injury report was not out when this was posted.)
