Five Lions On ESPN's All-NFC North Team

On Friday, ESPN's 2010 All-NFC North team was released by Kevin Seifert. Between the offense, defense and special teams there are five Detroit Lions players on the team: wide receiver Calvin Johnson, offensive tackle Jeff Backus, tight end Brandon Pettigrew, defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh and kick returner Stefan Logan.

As you might expect considering they won the Super Bowl, the Green Bay Packers lead all teams with a total of 10 players on the All-NFC North squad. They have five on offense, including their center and right side of the offensive line. On defense, they also have five players.

The Bears have the second highest amount of players, coming in with seven total on the team. Interestingly, only one player for Chicago is on offense (Matt Forte). Four players are on defense and two are on special teams.

The Vikings, like Detroit, have five total players on the team. They have two on offense, one on defense and two on special teams.
