Super Bowl XLV: Who Ya Got?

The matchup in Super Bowl XLV is a very intriguing one. On one side you have Aaron Rodgers, an explosive passing offense and a stellar defense. On the other side you have Ben Roethlisberger, a balanced offense and one of the toughest defenses in the league. It's a very tough call as to whether the Packers or Steelers will win this game.

The line in Las Vegas is the Packers by a field goal. I'm a little surprised it's not just a pick'em game, because that's how close of a call this seems to be to me. I could easily see either team winning, and the only thing that would be surprising is if the final score produces a victory that is by more than a touchdown. No matter which team wins, I don't think it will be by more than seven or so points.

My personal prediction for this game is that the Steelers will win, 27-21. I think Pittsburgh running back Rashard Mendenhall will be the MVP of the game and score a late touchdown that gives the Steelers the victory.

Which team do you have winning tonight, and who do you think will be the MVP?
