This week the Detroit Lions hosted quite a few potential NFL Draft picks for visits. In the coming weeks, they will work out at least two potential picks: Will Rackley and David Mims.
Rackley is an offensive guard from Lehigh University. He plans on privately working out with the Kansas City Chiefs on April 1, and four days later, on April 5, he will work out with the Miami Dolphins and Lions.
Mims is a big offensive tackle from Virginia Union (Ben Wallace's college). He is 6-8 and weighs 343 pounds, and he plans on working out with the Lions at some point in the future. Mims said that one team wants to work him out and host him for a visit, but it's not clear if he was referring to the Lions or another team.
While many believe that the Lions will use their first-round pick on an offensive lineman, it's just as possible they could go the same route as last year and pick a tackle or guard later on in the draft.
