2011 NFL Mock Draft: Buffalo Bills Select Ryan Mallett

With the 34th pick of Pride of Detroit's 2011 NFL Mock Draft, the Buffalo Bills select Arkansas quarterback Ryan Mallett. CLF is serving as the Bills' general manager, and his reasoning for the pick is below.

Wow. It looks as though the Buffalo Bills have struck gold! Not only were they able to get the top defensive tackle in the draft, but now in the second round, they can get a top rated QB too! The whole front office is giddy right now and can't wait to see what falls to them in the third.

At 6'7", 247lbs. Ryan Mallett is physically what any team is looking for in a franchise QB. He's big, tall, and is able make ALL the throws Chan Gailey desires. With Mallett, the Bills have a great franchise QB prospect that they can exercise patience with and without the bank-breaking contract. Finally, falling to the second round should help coaches with Mallett's biggest flaws ... arrogance and maturity level.

If picks like these keep falling from the sky watch out for the Bills in 2012.
