Matthew Stafford Apparently Will Throw Passes At Georgia's Spring Game

Ever since having shoulder surgery earlier in the offseason, Matthew Stafford has been on the path to being 100 percent healthy again. Based on what he's had to say about his rehab on Twitter, indications are that he is recovering well. Another indication that he is recovering well is that he will apparently throw some passes at halftime of Georgia's spring game on Saturday.

At halftime of G-Day, former Bulldogs David Greene, D.J. Shockley, Matthew Stafford and Zeier will participate in the Legends Quarterbacks Challenge. The quarterbacks can earn points for various skills. A contestant paired with the  winning quarterback will have an opportunity to make a 25-yard pass into a barrel to win $25,000 to be split by the contestant and the Johnathan Taylor Fund.

Georgia clarified that Stafford probably will be pretty laid back when throwing and we shouldn't expect him to "air it out." Even so, it's another sign that Stafford is progressing with his recovery.
