2011 NFL Mock Draft: Arizona Cardinals Select Kyle Rudolph

With the 38th pick of Pride of Detroit's 2011 NFL Mock Draft, the Arizona Cardinals select Notre Dame tight end Kyle Rudolph. JazzyBBP is serving as the Cardinals' general manager, and his reasoning for the pick is below.

There was a run on CBs and the ones remaining would've been a reach at this point in the draft. The same goes for 3-4 pass-rushing OLBs, so what do I do now? Get my brand new QB a new best friend.

The Cards already have a stud receiver with capable No. 2s and 3s and two solid running backs, so it's time to get this offense its missing weapon to give Gabbert what he needs to succeed. I was tempted to get interior OL help with this pick, but when a great prospect with a complete TE skillset like Rudolph slid to me and it being a huge position of need, this was another easy pick and was the BPATFAN on my draft board. He's a day one starter.
