With the 39th pick of Pride of Detroit's 2011 NFL Mock Draft, the Tennessee Titans select TCU quarterback Andy Dalton. Lionsfan_772 is serving as the Titans' general manager, and his reasoning for the pick is below.

With hours of research and polling Music City Miracles, it became clear we are trying to fill needs at positions such as QB, DT, CB and WR. So it started to look like BPA was going to have to apply, but then Andy Dalton hit our big board and fell right into our laps.

Despite so much debate about other players, we all felt that Dalton was best suited to fill yet another glaring need. He started at TCU for four years and in those four years he went to four bowl games and won the MVP award three times. He also won three of those four bowl games, including last year when he took TCU to their first Rose Bowl and defeated Wisconsin. He has excellent leadership and work ethic that allowed him to break several school records. Andy is quick on his feet with over 1,600 yards and 22 touchdowns on the ground in four yrs. In his career he threw for more than 10,000 yards and 51 touchdowns. He also possesses the accuracy, touch and zip on the ball that many teams covet in a QB.

MCM is jumping up and down that Dalton fell right into our laps. This will fix the biggest need of all and Andy will be the starter on opening day
