Yet another running back was in town for a visit with the Detroit Lions, as the team hosted USC's Allen Bradford on Tuesday. Bradford joins Oklahoma's DeMarco Murray and Illinois' Mikel Leshoure as running backs that have visited the Lions. Hawaii's Alex Green was reportedly set to visit the Lions on Monday, but the team's official site didn't report anything.
While Bradford was at the Lions' facility, he got a chance to talk a bit about what he would bring to the team.
"A lot of people don’t think that I’m fast just because I’m big. But I feel like I can block on third downs and I can get at least four or five yards on the first carry. Whatever happens, happens. If I’m in a complimentary role, then I’m happy with that."
