2011 NFL Mock Draft: Baltimore Ravens Select Titus Young

With the 58th pick of Pride of Detroit's 2011 NFL Mock Draft, the Baltimore Ravens select Boise State wide receiver Titus Young. TonyDC is serving as the Ravens' general manager, and his reasoning for the pick is below.

The Ravens need a legitimate downfield threat to complement Anquan Boldin and take some more pressure off of Joe Flacco. It became very apparent during the divisional round playoff loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers that they needed another downfield option for Flacco.

I would have liked an inside linebacker here to groom as Ray Lewis' eventual replacement, such as Martez Wilson, but he was taken so I am going with offense. With the selection of Anthony Castonzo in the first round and Titus Young here, I think the Ravens have made some upgrades that will have an immediate impact on their offense.
