Detroit Lions first-round draft pick Nick Fairley wore the No. 90 jersey in college at Auburn. That is fellow defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh's number in the NFL, so Fairley will wear the No. 98 jersey for the Lions. That number previously belonged to linebacker Julian Peterson, who was released earlier in the offseason.

With Fairley deciding to wear the No. 98, the Lions' defensive line numbers look like this:

Robert Callaway (DT)

Barry Turner (DE)

Turk McBride (DE)

Willie Young (DE)

Ndamukong Suh (DT)

Sammie Hill (DT)

Cliff Avril (DE)

Kyle Vanden Bosch (DE)

Lawrence Jackson (DE)

Andre Fluellen (DT)

Nick Fairley (DT)

Corey Williams (DT)
