Round Two NFL Mock Draft: Brandon Harris To The Detroit Lions

SB Nation has released a round two NFL mock draft. The mock takes all of the picks from Thursday night's first round into account and gives us a look at what the picks for tonight's second round would be.

With the 44th overall pick, the Detroit Lions are predicted to take Miami (FL) cornerback Brandon Harris. The mock explains that Harris could very well be one of the first players off the board, but if he were to fall to the Lions, they could become "playoff contenders."

I can't disagree with that one bit. If the Lions can walk away from the first two rounds of the 2011 NFL Draft with Nick Fairley and Brandon Harris then they will have a lot of young and upcoming talent on the defensive side of the ball. The defensive line is already stacked, but the secondary could use a guy like Harris. I would be thrilled if this actually happens tonight.
