NFL's Top 100 Players: Ndamukong Suh Checks In At No. 51

Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh came in at No. 51 on the NFL's list of the top 100 players of 2011. The list was put together based on votes from current players, and the first half of it has been revealed in sections over the last month on NFL Network. The list will continue to be revealed over the next month or so, and so far Suh is the only Lions player on it.

Chicago Bears offensive line coach Mike Tice presented Suh for the show. He talked about how Suh came into the league as a guy whose hype was not unfounded, and yet Suh still exceeded expectations. Highlights of Suh's best plays from 2010 were showed as Tice praised him. Some of the plays included his sacks from throughout the season, his interception against the St. Louis Rams and his fumble return for a touchdown against the Washington Redskins.

Lions receiver Calvin Johnson is expected to be on the list at some point. Next week players 50-41 will be revealed, but I would imagine Johnson is higher than that on the list.
