Two Lions Players On National Football Post's All-Rookie Team Projection

National Football Post's Wes Bunting put together a projection for the 2011 All-Rookie team, and two Detroit Lions players are on the list. There is one on offense (wide receiver Titus Young) and one on defense (defensive tackle Nick Fairley).

Bunting thinks Young will get many opportunities to get deep balls on vertical routes, and he thinks Young is a "big play waiting to happen." Considering the Lions have so many different weapons on offense (Calvin Johnson, Nate Burleson, Brandon Pettigrew, Jahvid Best, etc.), there should be some room for Young to make things happen.

Fairley is on the All-Rookie team projection because Bunting calls him a "gifted athlete with an explosive first step and impressive lateral quickness inside." Bunting thinks Fairley could be "one of the real steals of the draft," and considering he will get to line up next to Ndamukong Suh, he should also get opportunities to make things happen.
