Detroit Lions safety Louis Delmas was hampered by a groin injury throughout the 2010 season. He still managed to get through the entire season and only missed one game, but he didn't play at as high of a level as he did his rookie year thanks to the injury.
Hopefully in 2011 Delmas will be back to how he played in year one in the NFL now that he is fully healthy. Drew Rosenhaus, Delmas' agent, had this to say about the Lions safety's injury and recovery:
Louis Delmas played all of last season with a severe groin muscle injury. He is back to full speed and able to work out with no limitation.
Lions linebacker DeAndre Levy was also hampered by a groin injury throughout last season. If both he and Delmas can stay healthy and play without limitation in 2011, that would be great news for the Lions' defense.
