- NFL.com's Gil Brandt thinks Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh should have attended more than just one player-organized workout, but Brandt is confident Suh will be in great shape when training camp starts.
- National Football Post put together an interesting piece breaking down Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson in the red zone. The focus of the piece is Johnson's go-ahead fourth quarter touchdown on 4th and 1 from last season's victory against the Washington Redskins.
- NFL.com has a slideshow of pictures of NFL players from their younger days, and one of them is Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford in a Little League Dodgers jersey.
- ESPN's Adam Schefter reported earlier this week that talks between the NFL and NFL players association "almost blew up" on Tuesday. Apparently things got ugly when lawyers were brought back into the negotiating process. Things were thankfully smoothed over once the lawyers were kicked out of the room. Hopefully in the future the lawyers stay on the sideline.
